Which of this week's work serves something you agreed?

You agree five things a year and spend money, people and attention every week. The gap between those two is invisible until the year ends. Outcome first means the outcome exists before the work does, so the link is a field filled by the person creating the work rather than a report assembled afterwards by someone who was not there.

Frequently asked questions

Does AEROSS detect when a goal drifts off track?

No, and we will not claim it. Nothing in AEROSS watches an agreed outcome and tells you it has slipped, and there is no health score rolling up from a task to a department to a board objective. What AEROSS measures is coverage — the share of active work carrying a link back to something agreed, with the unlinked work named.

What is a ghost decision?

A decision the system observed being made that nobody ever recorded. AEROSS counts captured decisions next to ghosted ones, because the second figure measures how much of a company is still being run in conversations nobody can find six months later.

Why does this matter more now than it did before agents?

Because the volume of work rises when machines do it. An organisation that could not trace work back to a decision when people were doing it slowly certainly cannot once agents are doing it quickly — unaligned work used to grow at the speed of hiring and now grows at the speed of compute.
